Frontier copper phone line retirement

Frontier has asked the FCC for permission to stop offering copper phone service in 9 filings that cover 1,536 of its telephone exchanges in 21 states. The next date is October 23, 2026.

A filing usually covers part of an area, not every address, and Frontier has to notify customers before it changes their service.
