Copper phone line retirement in Arizona

Frontier has asked the FCC for permission to stop offering copper phone service in parts of Arizona. 49 exchanges are named in, or covered by, those filings. Another 28 are served by Lumen (CenturyLink): Lumen (CenturyLink) stopped selling and renewing its business voice services on August 1, 2026.
