Lumen (CenturyLink) copper phone line retirement
Lumen (CenturyLink) has asked the FCC for permission to stop offering copper phone service in 13 filings that cover 461 of its telephone exchanges in 8 states. The next date is November 30, 2026.
Lumen also says it is moving toward the end of sale of its business voice services, so we list its 472 exchanges with no filing yet as well (17 states in all).
A filing usually covers part of an area, not every address, and Lumen (CenturyLink) has to notify customers before it changes their service.
