AT&T: FCC docket 25-229

AT&T has asked the FCC for permission to stop offering Remote Call Forwarding Service or TeleBranch in portions of certain wire centers in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Missouri, Mississippi, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas, as of June 30, 2026.

Nothing stopped this request, so under FCC rules it was approved automatically on August 25, 2025. The phone company still has to notify customers before it changes their service. FCC notice

This filing is about Remote Call Forwarding Service or TeleBranch, not ordinary copper phone lines. We list it so the record is complete.
